Alternative Investments analyst qualifications/exit opportunities
Does anyone have much information on what the work entails for an analyst at a BB in alternative investments (particularly, HF Indices and quantitative equities/strategic?) Are these quant heavy (with relation to say ibanking) and what are the exit opps? Sorry for the incoherence.

i assume you're talking about CS. HF Indices runs the tremont fund index... basically just doing reporting and tracking hedge funds. quantitative equities might be more interesting as you're developing computer models to prop trade equities. the latter is fairly quant heavy.
