I'm a first year MBA at a top 20-25 school depending on the ranking source, but not exactly a target for S&T as the school is in the Midwest. I am trying to leverage the alumni network, blah blah...I have some retail brokerage experience and am familiar with the street. It seems as though sales desks are cutting back right now due to the current market conditions.

Does anyone know where UBS's strengths lie, namely in Chicago?

Any views on ML healthcare? or MT? Are these guys top notch or just another average group? Thanks all.

Could someone please explain the hierarchy of debt? I know that secured debt is of higher priority than say junk bonds, but what about between a revolver and a term loan?

For the IBD:
Can someone walk me through the Discounted Cash Flow analysis?

Are there any other valuation models that are good to know?

For the S&T:
I guess you need to know the basics of how the macro economics work.

Also, to understand how to use P/E and EV/EBITDA.. Any other important multiples?

Can business related interns/part time jobs count during your undergraduate studies as work experience?

i'm having second thoughts... I accepted an offer in a BB in HK, but now want to do US recruiting again.. I know that chances of them finding out me interviewing is low, but what if i end up rescinding the offer?
Also, since I accepted the offer for HK, is it wise to negotiate with them to send me to NYC?
